What you will do
Enjoy snowshoe trekking in the snow forest where Hokkaido owls live. We will trek 3.6km in snowshoes through a primeval forest that is hard to believe you are in the suburbs of Sapporo.
① Not just snowshoeing! Bird watching with binoculars!
If you're lucky, you'll see an Ezo owl, and it's very popular! You can also meet the snow fairy Shimaenaga. In the forest where owls live, the drumming of woodpeckers echoes quietly.There is also a chance to meet Japan's largest woodpecker...
② Let's chase the footprints of animals left on the snow!
You can see how small animals such as Ezo snow rabbits live.
You can see the large hole that the black woodpecker made by drumming, and you can enjoy an extraordinary nature.
③Open the Snow Forest Café during breaks♪
Make a snow table and chairs and enjoy authentic hot coffee.
